1954 Hillman Minx Californian

Recent barn find, has evidently been stood around for some time unused, it has obviously been someones pride and joy in the not too distant past.

It is now in need of some work, there is bubbling coming through on the sill areas and on places on the rear wings, the n/s sill will need a small amount of welding by the looks of it, the drivers side seems solid, floors look ok.

The paint is flaking on the roof, very nice under the bonnet and on the inner wings, outer wings and doors are good as is the boot lid, bonnet and boot floor.

Still in its very period original colours of two tone green, there is a new grille in the boot and also a piece of glass for the drivers side rear as the one fitted to the car has cracked.

We have had it running and the engine sounds great.

This will make a relatively easy restoration project, all the panels will save without any replacement, the interior will clean up well.

Quite a rare car nowadays so well worth doing, comes with a copy of the old buff logbook, modern v5 (transferable reg number) and some old mot's
