Rare Scottish Georgian antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked for Edinburgh 1813 with the makers mark being AH. They have been beautifully designed with fiddle Pattern arms and shell grips. They bow has been engraved with a single letter M. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 6 inches (15cms) long by 1 inch (2.5cms) across the bow and weigh a heavy 44 grams. Superb examples.
