I do accept returns – because sometimes things don’t work out and I’m kind like that. But please don’t mistake my kindness for weakness or stupidity. I keep detailed photos of items I sell on file, including seams, zips, hems etc. Any claims of damage after delivery will be checked against my photos on file and fraudulent returns reported to eBay. I cannot stress this enough – there is no need to damage the clothing you’ve bought from me!. Or lie about the condition to avoid paying return postage costs. You will be reported to eBay for this.

 

And please, for the love of everything holy, MEASURE YOURSELVES AND READ THE MEASUREMENTS IN THE DESCRIPTION! Returns in 2023 for “didn’t fit” cost me, personally, over £700 in refunded postage costs. Some of you are blatantly using me as a trying-on service. I’m not a giant corporate entity; I’m just one exhausted, middle-aged menopausal woman running this show and that £700 made a dent.

These have been exclusively for ‘doesn’t fit’ or ‘changed my mind’…and I’m going to keep this tally as the year goes on. Some of y’all have no idea what size you are, or you don’t bother to read the measurements I provide (or both) and it shows. I can’t do it anymore. Going forward, repeat offenders are going on my block list.

 

I understand sometimes there’s a genuine reason for a return - the sleeves don’t fit the way you like or your stomach looks a little too poochy in a dress – that’s fine; I’ve got your back! But the ones who just buy and buy and return ad nauseam…well, in the words of the late, great Peggy Mitchell – get outta my pub!

 

This is not hyperbole; the recent trend of out-of-control returns are threatening to put me out of business. PLEASE BUY RESPONSIBLY and think of the sellers.

 

MY PROMISE TO YOU - You will never be overcharged for postage! If it turns out you've overpaid, I will hastily refund you the difference when I return from the post office. Because, again…I'm nice like that.

 

BUY-IT-NOWS - Not a fan. I appreciate you might be desperate to receive something in time for that wedding/dinner/ batmitzvah/prom/boozy night out with the girls, but I've got over 7k followers and a lot of them might have their eye on that gem, too. I don't ever want to disappoint anyone (you included) so I like to keep the playing field fair.

 

COMBINED SHIPPING – Who doesn't want to save money on postage? If you've got your beady eye on more than one item and they end on different days; hold off on paying and just drop me a message to let me know. Then, when you’re done shopping, give me a heads-up and I’ll send a combined invoice through for you. Easy peasy!

 

POSTING - I post Monday to Friday, and sometimes on Saturday if I'm feeling sassy, and always ship within 24 hrs of payment received (unless it's a Sunday or a not-so-sassy Saturday). All items posted are sent via Royal Mail Tracked - no exceptions, sorry! At check-out, you'll have the option of '24' or '48' delivery with the latter being the cheapest option, but taking a bit longer. It's up to you - but please don't pick the more expensive option then moan in feedback that postage is too high when you literally had a choice.

 

OTHER THINGS YOU MIGHT CARE ABOUT - I store everything I sell in smoke, pet and moth-free environment in closed wardrobes. If the label allows, I will launder either by hand or machine and iron or steam before sending off to you. (if you have allergies to detergents or fibres; I’m probably not your seller) Items are neatly folded and wrapped in fully recyclable packing (acid-free tissue and secure mailing bags) for posting. I don’t tape these up within an inch of their life, either, so if you carefully open them from one edge, you can then re-use them. Yay!
