1972 Rover P5B. V5C present, Classed as historic so tax and MOT exempt at this age.
Extensive history file is included.

The car has been modified over the years to make it more useable. 1980 SD1 engine fitted, which was used in the P6 and early Range Rovers. Five speed ZF gearbox installed with parts from a range rover diff put into the existing diff. A steering box out of a VW has been installed. Electronic ignition fitted. A dual fuel system fitted, so petrol and LPG gas which it runs fine on. The result is much better MPG on both petrol and LPG because the five speed manual box and range rover diff mean you are only doing a few thousand revs at motorway speeds. So much longer legs and more relaxed high speed cruising. The car had actually had a lot of money spent on it and the modifications have been well thought through and well executed. The condition of the car is pretty decent. It is not mint, but it is tidy with a nice interior and decent bodywork and chrome. I would say a good daily user. Naturally the car might not suit someone looking for perfect originality. It will however suit someone viewing regular use or serious mileages. The cars modifications help to make the car fairly unique.

Any viewings are welcome. The detailed history file has bills for absolutely everything with dates, who did the work, what was used, everything. There is no guessing with this one.
