this box measures approx 5 1/4" x 3 3/8" x 2 3/8" 

as you can see, the brass shows some heavy tarnish on the inside 

the box itself does not completely close 

shows some light dirt on the front 

there are some scratches on the front as well as shown 

I do see a small flea bite on the corner 

you can see that on some of the last pics 

beautiful heavy thick opaline box, probably french 19th century
