Very Quirky and Unusual vintage set of 4 Sportsmen Themed EPNS Candle (Thin Tapers) Holders.  Shaped as various sporting characters - each has a face with determined expression!  There is a Golfer, a Cricketer, a Tennis or LaCrosse player and someone skipping with a rope.  Nice detail and quality - although there are no makers marks apart from 'EPNS' on two of them.  Measure around 8.5cm high and are 1cm across the tops - so for very thin taper type candle.  In very good condition. Date from about 1940.
