Hatshepsut was born in 1508 BC. She is the eldest daughter of King (Thutmose I) and Queen (Ahmose). She was an ancient Egyptian ruling queen, and the fifth in the series of kings of the Eighteenth Dynasty. She ruled after the death of her husband, King Thutmose II, as guardian of the young king, Thutmose III. In the beginning, then as a queen and daughter of the god Amun, after she published a story that she had inscribed in her temple in Deir el-Bahari, in which she said that it was the result of an intimate meeting between Amun and her mother, Queen Ahmose. Manetho mixed up its arrangement and placed it after Amenhotep I in the middle of the Eighteenth Dynasty.
