Antique Edwardian White Cotton Full Length Lace Petticoat Skirt Silk Ribbon. Here we have an authentic turn of the century white cotton petticoat or half slip. It is made from a lightweight cotton with elaborate floral lace inserts through the bottom skirt. Just below the knee line is a horizontal panel of lace and cutwork where a cream colored silk ribbon threaded through. The silk ribbon is very shattered but could easily be replaced. The ribbon ties in a bow at the back of the skirt. Below the ribbon is a second layer of fabric to add fullness to the trumpet of the skirt. There is a side seam slit with a hook and eye for closure.

The condition of this piece is great for being over a century old. There are some minor small holes throughout. As noted above the original silk ribbon is very shattered. Please view all photos and inquire about any questions you may have before purchasing!
