Description
Here's another auction by Lone Star Trains and Collectibles, Your Classic Era Train Headquarters! Here is a Lionel #116 ballast hopper from 1910-1926. It is really a manually operating short hopper with a lever that releases the ballast out the chute on the bottom. This car is one of the more unusual ones from the era--something not made postwar.
Do you have this version? Be sure you have them all!
Sure to be an attention-getter in the prewar collection. CONDTION: C-6+. The patina on the dark green paint is surprisingly strong. Some scratches as you can see, but not too many. Good gold printing; all is legible and nice. Some factory paint runs as you find on this era (these cars were usually dipped). Complete couplers, trucks, and wheels, all of which are clean. Pictures show it all and are enlargeable. SCROLL down into the listing to see more pictures and to be able to enlarge them! Visit My eBay Store |
