It is an insanely sharp and contrasty lens and one of the few out there that is corrected for the entire focus range making it an extremely versatile and capable do everything lens. If you are like me, a film and digital shooter with a mirrorless setup you can easily adapt this lens to your mirrorless camera (I used Urth adapters) to scan your film negatives. That is why I am including the pk-13 extension adapter. Fixing this to lens and camera body will get the lens to full 1:1 macro. Perfect setup for scanning film negatives. If you are a Nikon shooter that scans negatives digitally this really is a do everything lens. The lens is in great shape, aperture clicks are solid, glass is clean and barrel has minimal usage marks. Focus is smooth and precise through entire range.
