In a Gaymode hosiery box that had handwritten notes on the front and inside had 2 sewn black button cards. This auction is for ONE of those cards. Just the card

with buttons.. not the box. The other as well as additional button lots are in other auctions. These were collected by a family from generation to generation and sent to them from various places including relatives in Germany. I believe this card was put together around the same age of the hosiery box, making these buttons ranging to mid 1800s or older ! Might never see a grouping like this.

The hosiery card is wrapped in satin? Handwritten numbers next to some buttons. 6.25" x 9".
