This is an 18 size, 7 jewel Elgin pocket watch with a nickel case. It has the classic white dial with a second hand sub dial, and black markers with dark navy hands. The serial number is 18703008 indicating a manufacture date of 1915. A great piece for the Elgin collector..!

This is a pre-owned partially working watch. It keeps time, but runs about 5 minutes slow as of 2 hours up to this listing. Also, the crown is quite finicky when setting the time. It needs to be pulled out at just the right amount (and vice versa), and with some luck can get it to set. Cosmetically this watch in excellent condition..! The only really noticeable blemishes without a loupe, are small light scratches on the back of case. Note: Even though this is a working watch it does need some work as noted, and we cannot offer any long term warranty due to it's 110 year age.
