7 Vintage Shenango and 1 Syracuse China Dessert Pie Plates - Peppermint Red

For your consideration are seven Shenango and one Syracuse China dessert or pie plates. The pattern is Peppermint and the description is red scrolls on rim. This is the red version of Syracuse China Wintergreen. Very rare iconic restaurant ware pattern and plates!

The bottoms of seven plates are marked Shenango China Made in USA and have the date code of U15. (made in 1957) They are also marked rimrol welroc The bottom of one plate is marked Syracuse China USA.

The dessert plates are 7 1/4" in diameter.

The condition is very good with some utensil wear. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Seven of the plates have a Shenango backstamp. One plate has a Syracuse China backstamp. There's a very slight color difference in the white color and this is pictured.
