The book shelf has some scratches scuffs and wear on it. It has the remnants of a sticker on the one side of it. It either has a musty smell or a cigarette smell to it. It has a smell to it, but I cannot quite place it. It has been in storage for quite sometime and it needs aired out. It is not overwhelming, I just noticed a smell to it. The sticker on the top of the book shelf also has some stains and marks on it. 

The books also show some wear. They have scratches, scuffs and wear. Some of them have wrinkled covers and some marks on them. The book covers have wrinkles and folds on a few of them. It also looks like some pencil marks on the covers of them. They are all complete and they seem to have all their pages. They may have some age discoloration on the covers. The tops of the books are discolored, but I think this is from setting on a shelf for so long and getting the tops dirty. The books show some wear, but they can all be read. The books are about 5.625 inches by 4.25 inches.

The books all fit in the shelf, but it looks like another one could fit in there. There are 23 books, which completes the set, but there may of been something else in the shelf with them.
