MicroChamps 1:64 Benetton-Ford B192 Michael Schumacher First Win, Spa 30 August 1992.

From the Michael Schumacher Collection, a finely detailed MicroChamps 1:64 scale replica model Benetton-Ford B192, driven by Michael Schumacher in the Belgian Grand Prix, held over 44 laps of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on, 30 August 1992.

With Qualifying 2 held in wet condition, times from Qualifying 1 determined the grid positions. Nigel Mansell secured pole with a time of 1:50.545, Ayrton Senna took second spot with a 1:52.743, while Michael Schumacher claimed third place with a 1:53.221.

Senna showed strong pace at the start of the race, leading until Mansell attacked and passed at the end of the second lap. Then rain started to fall and almost everyone pitted for wets. Senna gambled on the rain stopping, but was forced to pit late and rejoined in 12th, only for the track to begin drying on lap 28. Michael Schumacher held a comfortable lead over the Williams of Mansell and Patrese as they both encountered engine problems in the closing stages, crossing the finish line 36.595 seconds ahead of Mansell to secure his first Formula One Grand Prix victory.
