This AM FM Stereo 8 track player is a Weltron PS-804

Rare, from @ 1970, and they came before the famous Weltron 2001

The cabinet is made out of wood, weighs 11.5 pounds

11" Tall x 9" Deep x 6" Wide

Powered by 110 ac, 12 volt dc car battery, and/or 8 D cell batteries (12 volts)

It does work with the batteries (not included)

I have not tested the 12 volt car connector, the cord is damaged

AM, FM work and have strong volume, I don't have a 8 track to try

Antenna is original and in VGC. It's swivel works well and stashes down into the unit just like new

The speakers sound good and are in good condition, are removable but I didn't try it

The on/off switch was incorporated into the tone control. You turn it on and set the tone, the volume and balance are where they were left last usage.  The volume and balance controls were combined in the same potentiometer...  The idea here was you turned the unit on and set the tone, and the volume and balance were already set from the last time you used them.  The carry handle is strong and secure. The trap door access latch on the back works well
