Titanic Era Navy Blue Silk White Net Camisole Red Bow Belted Trim Tea Gown Dress

This antique Edwardian Titanic era navy blue silk white net camisole red bow belted trim tea gown dress dates from 1912. It is made of a royal navy blue silk fabric, with an off white cream color pleated net camisole top front insert, multicolored striped silk ribbon trim back collar, cuffs and a wide red silk satin ribbon sash bow back belt. This Titanic era patriotic dress is a long tea length, with a layered side skirt drape gathering silk button trim accents, an embroidered net wired stand up collar, short sleeves, a red ribbon belted sash with bow back hook closure, hook & snap closures on the front top and is lined only inside the top with a cotton camisole sewn inside. The dress measures 50 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 40 inch hips, a 16 inch back and the red belt has a 27 inch waist. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with a few faint small stains, yellowing discoloration, a couple of tiny pin holes and some slight frayed pulls on the sleeves. This is truly a wonderful piece of Titanic era wearable art!
