Japanese Vintage Sewing box Small chest HARIBAKO SHOWA retro Unfinished product
This is an unassembled wooden needle box from over 60 years ago.
Just make a hole with a drill and attach a handle to complete it.
Although it is an unused item, there are dirt, rust, and small scratches due to age.
Due to long-term storage, the top lid is floating as shown in the second photo.
This occurs when the wood shrinks a little as moisture escapes.
This can be resolved by slightly scraping the wood on the ground surface of the circle.
Alternatively, there is a way to reposition the hinges.
There are two ways to solve this problem.
(Fixing this requires a little do-it-yourself experience.)
