ROYAL DOULTON SMALL CHARACTER JUG - THE HAMPSHIRE CRICKETER - LIMITED EDITION - D6739.

 

Offered for sale is this charming Royal Doulton Small Character Jug called The Hampshire Cricketer, from the Cricketers series.

 

It is number 132 of a Limited Edition of 5000 pieces in 1985, sadly I do not have the Certificate of Authenticity.

 

It was designed by Harry Sales with the handle cleverly formed as a cricket bat.

  

It is approx. 5 inches tall, and it is offered for sale in very good condition with no chips or cracks.

 

It is fully marked on the base with the Royal Doulton stamp and reference number D6739, and the Limited Edition number.
