The 1994 German F3 Championship was scheduled to be held over twenty races in ten double-header rounds. However, the first race at Zolder was cancelled due to snow, although race 2 took place.

Ralf Schumacher proved to be a regular visitor to the rostrum throughout the season. Although he secured a solitary victory, Ralf backed it up with six second places and three thirds, along with sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth. Ralf also claimed two poles and four fastest laps. Scoring 158 points, Ralf finished in third place in the championship, behind Jorg Muller (Champion) and Alex Wurz.
