For your consideration is a RARE Kammer & Reinhardt CLOSED MOUTH mold 192 antique bisque head doll. I don't say rare often, but this one really is in my opinion. I've never had one or come across one in over 35 years of collecting. This mold was made as an open mouth and closed mouth version. For comparison, I've only seen one 18" closed mouth 192, but this is an even more rare at a desirable cabinet size of 10.25 inches tall!

The bisque head is free of damage and repair. She is incised on the back top rim of her head "192," which is how K*R marked the earliest version of this doll. Org. tosca mohair long wig with a pretty, vintage hair bow, light brown feathered brows, painted lashes, org glass set brown eyes, red dots outlining her inner eye corners, a closed mouth with a tiny space between her lips, blushed cheeks, and pierced ears (no flakes at earring holes). Her early composition body is 5 pieces and strung well. It retains the org. paint and finish to it. Her mustard color heeled shoes have molded bows at the toe area and two straps. She has slightly ribbed black painted stockings. This sweet girl is wearing antique white cotton bloomers (possibly org), an antique style blue gingham dress, white antique pinafore, and a tiny brass circle brooch. I love this little girl and she will be a keeper if nobody grabs her soon!
