This beautiful tailored dress by Max Mara Studio is buttoned half way down and has 5" splits up each side.  Buttoned at the cuffs. The owner has removed the size and fabric content label so I can't say what it is made from though I'm guessing a polyester mix. It is in very good condition though it does have 2 marks on the front (photo 12) which look like they will come out if cleaned. 

It fits an IT 42/UK 10 but to be sure of size I have measured approx:

armpit to armpit: 21" 

armpit to hem: 25"

armpit to sleeve cuff: 18"
