This is a wonderful old Etched and hand engraved Silver Berber Eye Kohl Bottle with a removable paint stick and chain. The Berbers are an indigenous ethnic group of North Africa. The use of Kohl is mainly widespread in the Near and Middle East.
This bottle is old and unique in its simplistic style and design. These kohl bottles were made small to be carried. Kohl is a powder used by women for eye makeup to line and draw attention to the eye. This flask contains original Kohl as shown in the last image.
This is coin silver/ metal and I do not believe it is sterling
