ITEM DESCRIPTION

The item you are purchasing is shown in the photo 2.

This fabric is from an used Houmongi (visiting) kimono. This kind of kimono is a formal kimono for married ladies as the name implies and are of very high quality.

The base fabric colour is charcoal grey. The fabric is woven with cracked square pattern and is on a glossy side.

The panel features a crane bird flying over a field with flowers. All the items are decorated with gold lines. Some of the ume flowers are filled with white dots on black background. There are stylised pine branches and a part of wooden bridge.

Please note this is not a full sized kimono. The size of the fabric is about 37cm x 115cm. The height of the pictured area is about 40cm and the remainder is charcoal grey.

CONDITION

This fabric is in very good used condition. Ironed but not washed. I un-stitched an unsed kimono, there are lines where fabrics were used to be sewn together. Please refer to the photos as photos are a part of the description.

Please note this is not a new item and although I always check the item carefully before listing, there might be very minor defects which missed my attention.

This item is from a pet- and smoke-free seller.
