Please meet Clova, a fabulous antique vintage American Knickerbocker Teddy bear!  She's was produced the 1920's.  She is made of a chocolaty brown mohair that is in near-perfect condition, with the only loss that I can find next to her nose from too many kisses.  She couldn't have been played with very often.  She has brown glass eyes and a black metal nose with a black stitched mouth.  She has those nice large ears.  Her paw pads are original and are made of wool felt with slight wear to the paw pads, but nothing is coming through.  Her press squeaker is working.  She does have a slight atticky smell if you put her up against your nose, but nothing that is overwhelming.  I've given her a pink clown collar to wear that I bought from For Teddy and Dolly in Austria who make awesome Teddy bear clothes.  Her head is solidly excelsior stuffed, but the rest of her body is softer.  She is five-way jointed and in excellent used condition.  Clova is 16 inches tall and weighs 1 pound.  Could she be the one for you???  She is looking for a home where she can put up a large yurt in your garden and establish a Teddy Bear Ashram Meditation and Yoga Center!  :0)

Check out the last picture for a group photo of all the bears on auction this week!   :0)
Please note:   Upon payment, I ship the next business day.    Whenever possible, my items will now be sent out USPS Ground Advantage, which is much less expensive than Priority Mail, but slightly slower, by a day or two.   Occasionally I use my personal discounted FedEx account as well for larger, heavier items.  If you'd like me to send something Priority, please let me know.

With regret, I am downsizing my teddy bear collection.   I have many different types, which I will be listing in the coming weeks (or months or maybe even years).   For the most part, I relist all the bears that don't get adopted the first time around on the last Saturday of the month.  I live in a smoke-free home, but I do have cats who are barred from the bear room and bunny room(!).

Names, names, names:  If I'm listing an animal crafted by an artist, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances (don't ask), I do not know his or her proper name.  I simply rename them using my own imagination (which is admittedly quite active).  This is not a slight to the talented artist who created them or meant to confuse the collector...just a way to give them a bit of personality and to have a little fun!   (Feel free to change their name and protect the innocent!)

A quick note about shipping:    Don't you hate it when you're overcharged by a seller on shipping????   A gazillion dollars to cross the pond or go across the country.  It's ridiculous.   I am striving to be accurate in my listing, but sometimes ebay's calculator is way off (especially for those outside the U.S.).   When i calculate shipping, I add in extra weight for the box.    If you're interested in an item outside the U.S., don't be scared by what the calculator is telling you.   Please contact me and I'll find out exactly what it would cost to post to your country and make a note in the listing.  I'll never overcharge you.   If I quote you a number and i can get it to you cheaper, I'll immediately refund the difference.

Please note I am not an expert in teddy bears...I am only downsizing.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Please see pictures.  They are part of the description.  Additional pictures on request.

Payment is due within THREE days of auction end.   Combined shipping is always available.   I only charge actual shipping costs.   If it turns out the shipping estimator is wrong above $1, I will refund you the difference.

I am willing to ship internationally, but please ask if I post to your country and what it would cost BEFORE you bid, as it could be very expensive.  Ebay's calculator can be off either too high or too low!

Check out my other teddies that I am listing this week.

Thank you for looking at my auction
