This early American creel wicker fishing basket was hand wooven and it was made in New England Area of the US back in the 1970's. This creel fish basket was hand wooven by a skilled basket maker who died the wicker and wove it togather in this two tone color design with a wooden lid with a fish cut out of it to out your fish in. This creel fish basket was repaired with a new strap that was properly gromited to the original leather strap. This creel fish basket measures 14" tall by 11 1/2" wide and it is in Excellent Condition" with a repaired strap, no breaks or cracks to the wicker, and verry little wear to the basket for the age of it.
