This is a footed vase by Wilhelm Kåge, a master potter at the Gustavsberg Porcelain manufactory in Sweden.

The ochre-colored base is coated with a brick-reddish-brown glaze, and the base is carved with a finely scraped-down line pattern. A lees blue glaze is applied over it, and when fired, the glaze turns blue and transparent.

The shape of the bowl is a dome-shaped body with an elongated mouth, giving it a stately appearance and presence. The bottom of the vessel is carved with six feet.
