Finishing of Used Products

Our thoughts on the Classic Montblanc

Montblanc, synonymous with fountain pens, has a long and varied history. In modern times, it has become a member of the LVMH Group and has a luxury boutique. However, it had a history of hardship from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Montblanc's position was precarious due to the rise of ballpoint pens, and from the 1960s to the 1980s, the company simplified the materials used and mass-produced them, resulting in a decline in quality. Old Montblanc products that are still being unearthed today have excellent writing feel. However, the quality of the resin is poor. They can suddenly crack.
