Wood Lathed Handle English Sterling Silver Punch / Toddy Ladle with George II Coin Dated 1745

Presented is an excellent English made Punch or Toddy Ladle with a great with a twist motif lathed wood handle and a George II Sovereign coin incorporated in the center of the bowl dated 1745. This great ladle has a single side spout, a beaded motif around the edge rim and a bright cut engraved cameo on the center of the attached handle above a scallop modeled drop and a sterling silver mounted end cover on the end of the handle.  It is a beautiful piece of workmanship with only a dent in the bowl, some dings in the silver, it has a slight wiggle or of the handle, an out of round rim of the ladle, no monogram and some scratches from gentle use. This is an amazing piece for the silver and antique coins collector.

Condition: only a dent in the bowl, some dings in the silver, it has a slight wiggle or of the handle, an out of round rim of the silver ladle, no monogram and some scratches from gentle use.
