The solution is to use/purchase a spring with more or less tension to accommodate the desired round capacity of your choice (within legal limits) Certain states have single stacked compliant magazines with shorter springs that may require a larger spring. Other states may require a different sized spring with more or less tension as well depending on the size of your magazine.
