A stunning example of the German Bauhaus design, and a piece of important Zeisel design. Manufactured by Schramberger Majolika-Fabrik. The earthenware teapot hand painted with geometric pattern in yellow, orange and brown on a bright green ground. Design named "Gobelin 8" by Eva Zeisel.

Zeisel's designs for Schramberg are among her earliest surviving works. At Schramberg she created both shape and patterns, but some of her drawings were adapted by the factory painting department onto existing factory shapes. This creamer is one such example. The pattern is called Gobelin 8.

About 4 1/2" to tip of lid knob peak.
About 3" diameter at base.

Note that there are 2 chips UNDERNEATH the lid. You can
touch the parts up with paint or whatever you want, we will
not try to repair it. The base is rough and may have tiny
tick-bites etc. It is nearly antique, so it will show ware
and usage. The interior is clean.

Weighs about 8.4 ounces.

Shipping: each piece individually wrapped and the
creamer will be filled with tissue paper. The tape
will not be touching the creamer. Use caution when
unpacking. If you can, unpack over a soft surface
like your bed or a thick towel. Shipping in 10x8x6
box about 3 pounds total expected.

Do not change shipping from USPS priority mail
or the package will not be tracked nor insured.

Good luck bidders!
