You're bidding on an antique, Victorian-period handpainted porcelain portrait brooch - total size 2 1/2" X 2 3/4" - Depicting a beautiful young woman in profile in an elaborate scarf and bonnet. Pinback style with bronze twist border/frame. On the back side is indicated, "Maude Granger".
Granger (1849-1928) was a leading American actress of the Victorian period, whose long career extended even into the early silent picture era. She was both a huge star of the Brioadway stage, as well as a leading Shakespearian.
The pin depicts here as relatively youthful, so probably 1870s-1880s vintage, and likely a fan's souvenir. No date or maker's mark on the piece but my guess is probably German-made. Good overall clean, functional condition.
