The following auction is for a vintage receipt book. It is used. It is a bit dirty. The paper is stained from age. It has some of the paper missing from the booklet. It was used at one point in its lifetime. It smells a bit musty from being in storage.I dont know how many papers are in it, but quite a few.

It is for the Country Market Fresh Meats and Groceries in Kershaw SC. It is from the 1920's. It does not have an address of where it was located. It does say Phone 25. It measures about 5.5 inches by 3.375 inches. It is a receipt book with a piece of carbon paper.

When I opened it I found 2 folded pieces of paper from school. Apparently, Thelma Pointer had perfect attendance in 1927 at the Fairview school. I reckon her parents maybe owned the store and stored them in the booklet.

It is not perfect, but a neat piece of local history.
