Here is a true and real gem of horologial history! One of THE most important chronographs ever made. The HEUER 1/100 of a second stopwatch. These were developed by HEUER in the early 1900s for motorsport racing.
It was THE most accurate stopwatch well into the 1960s, nothing ( standrad production ) was capable of measuring 1/100th of a second accuracy mechanically !!! These features a porcellain dial and a 3 second face!
The wacth is simply stunning, I have had it for decades, its perfect! Original and unrestored, even the blue hands are perfect! Large at 57mm case width!
Some of these were also used by the military for artillery use and guidance.
