MicroChamps 1:64 Benetton-Ford B193 Ricardo Patrese 1993.

Finely detailed, MicroChamps 1:64 scale replica model Benetton-Ford B193, driven by Ricardo Patrese in the 1993 Formula One season.

The Benetton B193 was technologically very advanced, featuring active suspension, semi-automatic transmission and, from the Monaco Grand Prix, traction control. In an initially-exclusive deal, the B193 was powered by the latest Cosworth-built Ford HBA7/HBA8, 3.5-litre V8 engine, giving the car a power advantage over McLaren who were restricted to Ford customer engines until the British Grand Prix.

In his first season with Benetton, having been released by Williams, Ricardo Patrese enjoyed a solid year despite five retirements in the first seven races, which also produced fourth and fifth place finishes. After tenth place in France, Patrese enjoyed a run of five points-scoring races, with two fifth, sixth, and second and third place podium visits, before results faded in the final three races.
In scoring twenty points, Ricardo |Patrese claimed fifth place in the Drivers' Championship standings.
