 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

 at The Orange Bowl, Miami

Miami Dolphins vs Baltimore Colts

On original 16mm Sound and Color Film!

Here's a great NFL football collectible - the original sound and color film of the 1971 AFC Championship game, played January 2,1972 at The Orange Bowl, in Miami!   The young Dolphins are hosting last year's Superbowl champion Baltimore Colts (the teams split their two games during the regular season), and Don Shula's team is out to dethrone the champs and head for the Super Bowl themselves!   It's a great defensive game, with only the Dolphins being able to score in the first half, and at the intermission, the Dolphins only have a 7-0 lead.   Quarterback Bob Griese and teammates Larry Csonka, Jim Kiick, Nick Buoniconti, Paul Warfield (TD catch), Jim Riley, Tim Foley, Curtis Johnson, Bill Stanfill, Larry Little, Howard Twilley, Manny Fernandez, Jake Scott, Lloyd Mumphord, Larry Seiple, Dick Anderson, Mike Kolen and Rudy Kuechenberg are all shown in action for Miami, and you'll see Johnny Unitas, Don Nottingham, Don McCauley, Eddie Hinton, Rex Kern, Jim O'Brien, Mike Curtis, Jerry Logan, Tim Foley, Ray Perkins,  Bill Curry, Ray May and other for the Colts.   This is an official NFL Films production directed by Ed Sabol.

Condition:        Film has only two splices (near each other and both near the beginning - NO missing scenes) and has been inspected, cleaned and is in perfect running condition.   Film color has warmed, as is normal for all NFL prints from the early 1970's.   Film is over 830 feet long with all original leader and tail titles, etc. complete.    Comes mounted on original gray plastic Pliomagic reel and in familiar yellow Pliomagic shipping case with locking corners (see pictures)    NO Vinegar!

Buyer pays shipping of only $7.50 on this item, which will be shipped out by Media Mail.   Be sure to bookmark my e-Bay user ID (idot722) for future auctions of more vintage sports on original 16mm film!
