This is a vintage 1967-1969 Ideal Giggles Doll. With ash blonde straight hair, grey eyes, and a light complexion, this 18” girl has a vinyl head and hard plastic body.

She is a favourite of collectors and is in very good condition. When her arms are squeezed her head and eyes turn. Her giggle mechanism does not work and needs new rubber, which can be replaced by the new owner. On her tummy there is a little melted patch (see photo) and the left thumb is a bit dark. Her face is a little paler than her body colour. And her sandals are original but have broken straps (I haven’t ever removed them).

She is wearing a cute, well-made, sun dress with coordinating knickers, and has a jacket for those cooler days.
