LIVERPOOL AINTREE

26th MARCH 1960

**GRAND NATIONAL DAY**

MERRYMAN II becomes the first Scottish-bred winner of the great race (and was backed into favourite to do so)

Interestingly, this was the first time the Grand National was covered live on television, being part of the BBC's Grandstand programme.

This is in good condition overall for being 64 years old; tightly bound, both staples intact, NO rusting; NO folding; NO creasing; some writing inside & on front cover, as per photos.

Please see my other race cards; if bidding on more than one card and / or book, please wait for a final invoice as PROVIDED THAT the combined weight &/or final value of the package allows, a postage discount will be applied for multiple buys.

Overseas postage by Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed For service, fully insured.

**As always, please view all photographs, as the description is based on them**
