This is a WW2 group of medals to 221605 Pte E A Wynne, 2nd Btn. Transvaal Scottish, Union Defence Force. The medals are correctly impressed as South African medals were and mounted on a medal bar. He enlisted 2nd January 1941 and was captured at Tobruk June 1942. He escaped with another man but was recaptured. He was imprisoned at Campo 54 nr Rome, Campo 110, Sardinia, Italy and later at Stalag 4G, Oschatz. Comes with entitlement slip and 4 original packets. There is 33 pages of copied research included.
