In a pulsating finish, after a punishing pace set by the Lady Beaverbrook/ Dick Hern pacemaker 'team' of Highest & Kinglet, the three year old Derby winner GRUNDY wears down the ever-game four year old & St. Leger winner BUSTINO (Joe Mercer) in what has become known as the "Race Of The Century."
This is in super condition; nearly 50 years old.
Tightly bound, bright staples intact, no rusting, only annotations are the race results recorded neatly in the appropriate place of the card.
