Keep your oxalis triangularis  in a sunny spot in winter and Indirect sunlight in summer.

If leaves break off, the bulb will quickly replace them with new ones.
This is a hardy bulb plant which quickly bounces back so please don't worry if the leaves arrive damaged.

They will soon and quickly be replaced by new growth

Place the broken off leaf in water to propagate into a new plant.

This plant will also produce more bulbs with time and become bigger.

They are photophilic, which means that they open and close their leaves in response to light. At night, they are neatly folded.

When you receive your plant, please do not think the plant is dead as they fold the leaves at night and by the time you receive them they might think it is night time. Sent  Bare Rooted

Why is my Oxalis Yellowing?

The good news is that your plant’s leaves are probably going through a natural process that has triggered the yellowing.

In most cases, you should not have reasons for concerns. Let’s look at some interesting reasons:

Dormancy

Once your plant goes into dormancy, which is around late spring or the start of summer, its leaves yellow and die, which is a natural process in its life.

When you notice this, ensure that you cut back on watering and do not fertilize the soil.

Instead, you should wait for the plant to show signs of new life before gradually resuming your watering practices.
