This is a vibrant and stunning Amphibole Quartz crystal point. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. Amphibole Quartz aka Angel Phantom Quartz, or Angel Wing Phantom Quartz as trade names. Amphibole Quartz is a highly included quartz from Brazil. Amphiboles form as long prismatic crystals, radiating sprays and fibrous aggregates; forms mostly depend on the iron content. This particular piece has several shades of darker red and reddish orange, with accents of white/cream and golden orange in very interesting patterns. Several areas have a great example of the "sprays" visible and close to the surface and you can feel the textures as you run your fingers over them. Clear Quartz surrounds the Amphibole inclusions.

This is a natural piece, and as such has small organic spots throughout from inclusions that are near the surface. All formations are 100% natural parts of the crystal.

It weighs about 1.2oz / 36 grams / 180 carats and measures approximately 2" inches long by about 7/8" inch wide across the widest point. Code-12222-2

Amphibole Quartz is a calming and grounding crystal. It is an excellent crystal to support for emotional balance.
