This
is a Celebrated Comic Song about a well-dressed man who is a thief in disguise
posing as a suiter for the young ladies. His modus operandi is to call on
the young ladies at their home and while waiting for the maid to fetch the
young lady, he helps himself to the family silver.
The
black and white Lithograph depicts the thief being apprehended by Dan, the
Footman while the maid and others look on.
