Robert Russel was a 17th century English minister who published a collection of seven sermons in 1718, which were later printed several times.

While not much is known about Russel himself, his sermons were influential and widely read, particularly among Puritan and Congregationalist communities in colonial America. His style of preaching on sin and salvation aligned with the theological views of influential figures like the Mather family. Russel's work contributed to the religious discourse and spiritual development of early American Christianity.
