Ramshorn Snail Acclimation + Care Guide

- MAKE SURE YOUR TANK IS CYCLED AND SAFE FOR FISH/SNAILS BEFORE ADDING TO TANK! If tank is not properly cycled for 1-2 months BEFORE adding fish/shrimp/snails it’s NOT SAFE for life and will result in death! Do not add aquatic animals to untreated water!!

- Add 1 TEASPOON of YOUR tank water to the cup of snails every 10 minutes for 30 minutes so they get adjusted to different water parameters.

-Once added to your tank, snails may be lethargic or stagnant for a few hours while getting used to new water, but add some food and place the snails in an easy place to watch them and they will adjust. Snails may hide for 1-2 weeks while adjusting to the environment!

Water Parameters:

Aquarium pH: 7.0 – 8

Hardness: On the hard side, for their shells.

Water Temperature: 70 – 78 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Lighting: Normal community tank lighting.

Crushed coral is a great additive to ensure healthy shell growth. Snails love plants and community tanks. Best tank mates include: nano fish, dwarf shrimp, and non-aggressive fish
