I think it is very good to collect.
The watch is so special.
The First special is the case and crown at 6h clock. Hermes in a dealer company that sell Jeager Lecoultre in the history. No proof that the watch is made for Hermes.
Collector see the case look like many watch of Hermes today but it produce before Hermes do today. That is why many collector tell that the case like is is made before and then Hermes has succeeded in bringing brand recognition to such watch models. Bulova Royal Oak and AP is the same history. The Royal Oak case is made for Bulova First but AP succeeded in bringing brand recognition to such watch models. So the Bulova Royal Oak is much value and collectable.
The Second is the case 9041-42. As history Jeager LeCoultre made many version like this but truely for women because it is small and look like jewels. But the ref 9041-42 have big size that men can wear today and not the same with small version.
You can see the size of the watch near ruler and in my wrist (16cm wrist) to see the watch is big.
The dial is original but have some old at 10-11-12h dial (like exactly picture). Because the old in dial is silver and dial is silver too, so we hard to see the old in dial. It can be wear easy original like this.
Note: I don"t want to restored or serviced dial to keep the vintage color of the watch.
Buyer can wear like this or can serivice, clean or reprint if buyer want. But I don"t.
The third is the Hermes Clap Buckle.
The old owner want to wear and collect that the best so he buy Hermes Clap Buckle to wear. It look luxury style and have both Brand Jeager LeCoultre and Hermes in one watch that have connect with the ref 9041-42.
The case and crystal have many scratch of using like tool watches military but I do not polish or clean to keep the vintage color of this watch.
The movement is running good and keep time well. May be fast/slow some minutes each day.
Because the watch is display along time ago in old store before I buy and resell in eBay.
So may be need some service oil to become perfect.
