Story continues from Avengers 402, Fantastic Four 416, and X-Man 19. With Manhattan under siege by the Sentinels, Rogue and Joseph attack one mutant-hunting robot after another! And to their surprise receive aid from the monarch of Latveria! Wow, the situation must be grave indeed if Doctor Doom is pitching in to help! Eventually though everyone must fall back to Four Freedoms Plaza to prepare for the final assault vs. Onslaught! However one man, Charles Xavier, will attempt to reason with Onslaught before the dreadful confrontation! It may be the last mistake hell ever make. Story continues in (the one-shot) Onslaught Marvel Universe. Cameo appearances by Captain America, Giant-Man, Franklin Richards, Mr. Fantastic, and the Invisible Woman. X-men Lineup: Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Rogue.
