Bandai Namco Games will release the Mobile Suit Gundam model "G-SHOCK x GUNDAM" (18,000 yen excluding tax) of Casio's popular brand watch "G-SHOCK". This is the second collaboration between "G-SHOCK" and "Mobile Suit Gundam" following the first one released in 2009 which was well received.
"Mobile Suit Gundam" is a robot anime produced by Nippon Sunrise (now Sunrise) and aired in 1979. It is the first work in the Gundam series, and has since become a media mix work that has been developed in various ways, including being made into a series.
This time, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast, it will be released as a limited edition model with a design that is based on the image of Gundam itself with the concept of "wearable Gundam".
An original design was created for "G-SHOCK x GUNDAM" that incorporates innovative design based on the image of Gundam and various functions. The base color is white, which is the color of the Gundam's body, with blue, red, and yellow used as accents.
