You're looking at a very special item.
This is an original item from the 1940s. This ITO TMY 18 Dragon Boat is ready for the collection or to operate.

With motor.

Boat measures 18" x 6" x 4.5"

Motor measures 3" long x 2 1/8" wide x 1 1/8" high.


If you collect vintage model or toy boats, this is one of those things you have to grab when you see it. This boat is highly sought after.

Upon testing, it works. When we tried it with batteries, it did not respond (maybe our batteries or perhaps a loose wire?). However, it does work well upon applying direct dc power. I believe the motor to be a #107A large motor. The lights work sometimes, sometimes not. Propellers turn.

CONDITION: C-5+. Missing the battery cover. Motor runs, and propellers spin. It did not work with the batteries I used, but it worked great with direct power. The steering wheel switch works well--turning it on and off. The lamps came on, then went off, so they work but may need wiring or a ground. Cosmetically has paint chips, cracks in the paint, some age related yellowing, nicks in wood top.  Part on front top is broken. Some oxidation on metal parts. Please examine pics for yourself.

Terms of Sale

We do accept returns within 30 days. Unless there was an error on our end, return shipping is paid by the buyer and the price of the item is refunded upon receipt of iback at Lone Star Trains. If we made a mistake, we pay the return shipping. Items must be in the same condition as when we shipped. We cannot accept returns on orders that were shipped new and then opened. If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
