These two Northwest Coast baskets were found by an collector of Native arts at a yard sale in Iowa in the 1960's. They've been in a cabinet for 60 years. Wonderful designs and examples of hand-made basketry. The larger one measures 9 1/2" wide x 7 3/4" high. The smaller one with the open design at the top is 7 1/4" wide x 5" high. There is one missing reed at the top of the edge of the larger basket that is shown in an image.
